Chelsea Manasseri

Chelsea Manasseri has been performing in Austin since 1999. After a brief departure to Rochester Hills, Michigan, where she earned a BA in Music Theatre Performance from Oakland University (2009), Chelsea returned to Austin and has happily been performing non-stop. Most recently Chelsea appeared in Macbeth (First Witch) with Something for Nothing Theatre. Other local roles include Persephone in Persephone (Vortex Rep), Mama Morton in Chicago (Half & Half Productions), and Berenice Sadie Brown in The Member of the Wedding (Different Stages; B. Iden Payne Award Nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama.) Chelsea has also worked as a composer/music arranger (B. Iden Payne Award Winner, Outstanding Original Score, Sing Muse, 2013), music director (Central Texas Excellence in Theatre Award Nominee, Best Musical Direction - Chelsea Manasseri & Jennifer Coy, Sing Muse, 2013), playwright, and collaborator. By day, Chelsea teaches 1st and 2nd grade reading/language arts. Joseph Quintana

Since moving to Austin, Joseph has enjoyed working in the local performance community with companies such as Austin Opera, ZACH Theatre, Vortex Repertory, The University of Texas, and Generic Ensemble Company. As a performance artist, Joseph brings his skills of Acting, Voice, and Musicianship to all roles and projects he is tasked with. Joseph is excited to bring to life this new work, Breakfast at Joe's, alongside an incredible cast and a powerhouse of directing, writing, and leadership.

Sarah Chong Harmer

Sarah Chong Harmer is a recent transplant to Austin and is over the moon to be part of the Breakfast at Joe’s team. Sarah graduated with a B.F.A. in Theatre from Midwestern State University where some of her favorite roles included Alma Winemiller in Summer and Smoke, Sabrina Daldry in In the Next Room (or The Vibrator Play), and Rosemary in Rosemary With Ginger. She has previously worked as a middle school and high school theatre teacher and directed shows such as Horrid Massacre in Boston (UIL One-Act Play State Appearance), Alice!!!, and Crimes of the Heart. In October, Sarah made her Austin acting debut as Girl in Salvage Vanguard Theater’s production of Tryouts. Sarah would like to give her love and thanks to her family and friends for all of their love, support and encouragement and she would also like to extend her gratitude to the Breakfast at Joe’s cast and crew for this remarkable journey.

Svetlana Koutseridi

Svetlana Koutseridi is thrilled and delighted to bring to life Kitty in a new play Breakfast at Joes. She holds a B.A degree in Theater from Hunter College and perfected her craft at Stella Adler Studio Of Acting in New York City. Most recently she performed at the 14/48 Festival (Ground Floor Theater) and made children laugh as Bacon the Hippo in The Mystery of the Green Teeth Ghost (The Long Center). 

Ladislao Loera

Ladi is an artist, improviser, award winning storyteller, and animal lover.  He has appeared in Big Gay Musical, Story to the Death, Spoonful of Sugar and Happily Ever After. He has taken part in story telling events for Testify, Drinking with the Saints, and the Moth, where he won with a story about sympathetic nausea and what it teaches us about love and connection. Ladi is also an award winning public speaker with Toastmasters International. He is a native Texan who currently resides in Austin with his partner, and two elderly cats who hate each other.

Paul Weiner

Paul Weiner is doing his first play with Breakfast at Joe’s. He’s a stand up comic and also does sketch comedy and improv in Austin. Some people were just born to perform live. Paul Weiner is one of those people. Raunchy, relatable, introspective and observational, Paul Weiner gives audiences a look into the hard twist into the absurd with his honest comedy. Based out of Austin, TX, Paul’s surprising and unique comic delivery about his life stories.

Sabrina Kemble

Sabrina Kemble: More popularly known as Austin Burlesque’s “Goldie Candela”, she has been hitting stages all over the country for the past 12 years. She made her film acting debut in 2013 in Brett Mauser’s The Specialists. She also has several choreographer and dancer credits in local productions such as 2010’s production of The Austin Bike Zoo Presents: Wheels of Wonderland and most recently collaboration with the world renowned Pin up Belly Dance star, Michelle Manx in “Come Unity 2018”. Breakfast at Joe’s marks her stage acting debut.

Marc Carlson

Marc is currently the CFO of a coffee importing company, and also works as a financial advisor and  actor/movie extra!  Marc has previously been cast in the Lakeway Players productions of “Sing On” 2015, “Ghost of a Chance” 2016, and “The Foreigner” 2018. He is excited to be a part of the “Breakfast at Joe’s” cast, and his first time performing at Ground Floor Theatre! Prior to 2015, Marc’s stage performance was back in high school as “Sir Henry” in The Hound of the Baskervilles, but he has more recently been cast as a movie extra in Parkland, Believe Me, and My All American. When he is not counting beans, memorizing lines, or giving financial advice, Marc enjoys cycling, baseball, golf, and spending fun nights on the town with his wife, Kim.

Carlos O’Leary

Carlos O’Leary is an actor, comedian, writer, musician, dancer, and event host in Austin, Texas. As of 2018, he still believes that the Olympic biathlon is a global recruiting event for real live James Bond villains. Between scoring short films and performing at Fallout Theater, he has been in the TV show American Crime, and the films Jackrabbit, The Trolls, Results, and Maybe Shower. He is the father of two cats; Admiral Baby and Yusuf Islam, who call from time to time whenever they need money, and one dog named… Roofus.

Kelsey Altom Kling

Kelsey Altom Kling, Director, has almost 20 years of experience on Austin area stages as both actor and director with companies including Hyde Park Theatre where she is a company member, Capital T Theatre, and Austin Shakespeare among others and has been nominated for numerous Austin Critics’ Table and B. Iden Payne awards. She holds a BFA in performance from SMU, an MA in theatre history and directing from Texas State, and is a member of Actors’ Equity. She is the Fine Arts Coordinator at Texas Education Agency and serves on many boards, past and present, dedicated to fine arts and theatre education and arts advocacy. Breakfast at Joe’s marks a welcome return to theatre after an extended hiatus to work on progressive political campaigns in Central Texas.

Valerie Ward

Valerie Ward, Producer, has over 20 years experience in theater production. She has directed critically-acclaimed projects at the Hideout Theater and is part of the award-winning, world-touring improv theater ensemble Parallelogramophonograph. She is the co-founder/co-owner of Sweet Ritual Vegan Ice Cream since 2011, and in that role, has been involved in multiple expansion and fundraising efforts, resulting in over 70% growth year-over-year.

Jennifer Cunningham

Jennifer Cunningham, Production Design Director, is a one-woman entrepreneurial force. She succeeds at making a living as an independent artist and art dealer, jewelry maker, makeup artist, and Etsy entrepreneur. She teaches makeup and special effects at Austin School of Film. In addition to building sets for multiple stage productions in Austin, Jennifer has taught set-building to area youth at Zachery Scott Theater.

April Kling Meyer

April Kling Meyer, Playwright, works as a Business Development Director for Elephant Productions, where in 2017 she secured funding for a full-length documentary with Layton Blaylock of Inferno Films called, “Community First: A Home for the Homeless.” April currently serves on the board of Austin Creative Reuse and volunteers as a troop leader for Girl Scouts of Central Texas. From 2005-09 she was a vocalist/recording artist in various musical performance art ensembles in Seattle, WA, collaborating frequently with Sky Darwin. April is a practitioner of Creative Alchemy™, a spiritual practice that allows individuals to reclaim creative freedom and achieve personal goals through expressive painting. Breakfast at Joe’s is her first written work for the stage.
